This variety was obtained at the All-Russian Selection and Technology Institute of Horticulture and Nursery from crossing Red Speedy x Renclod Ullens. Authors: H.K. Enikeev, S.N. Satarova, V.S. Simonov. Introduced into the State Register since 2001 for the Central Region.
Medium-sized tree. Oval crown, medium density and foliage. Branches dark brown, bare. Buds medium-sized, deviated from branches. Leaf blade round-oval, size (length x width) — 74 cm², light green color, above average thickness, surface wrinkled, no pubescence on top or underside, margin uniformly serrated. Petiole medium length, has glands. Flower: petals not closed, number of stamens 21, stigma positioned above stamens, ovary bare, calyx cup-shaped, pedicel medium length, bare. Flowering and fruiting type — on cluster branches and spurs.
Fruit oval, weight 26g, main color greenish-yellow, skin shows pink blush on sun-exposed side, no pubescence, waxy coating present, apex and base oval, small depression at base, ventral suture weakly developed. Fruit appearance good. Flesh yellow, consistency fine-fibrous, density and juiciness medium. Sugar content and aroma medium. Taste rating 4 points. Chemical composition of skin and flesh: dry matter — 14%, free acids — 2.21%, sugars — 8.27%, ascorbic acid — 16 mg/100g. Pedicel medium length. Pit round-oval, weight 1.7 g, which is 6.5% of fruit weight. Fruit detachment from pedicel dry. Transportability medium. Utilization universal.
Average flowering period May 12–20. Ripening period August 7–14. Age to fruiting 6 years. Lifespan 21 years. Self-fertile. Yield above average. Fruiting relatively regular (4 poor yields in last 16 years). Average yield over last 16 years — 15 kg/tree.
Winter frost damage to branches and twigs medium, flower buds severe. Spring frost damage to flower buds weak. Drought resistance medium. Disease infestation level (clasterosporiosis, fruit rot) low (0.5–1 point), pest infestation (fruit worm and aphids) medium (2.5–3 points). Suitable for production, but not for intensive horticulture.
Advantages of the variety: self-fertility, regular fruiting, early ripening, disease resistance.
Disadvantage of the variety: low winter hardiness.
