Peresvet

Sweet pepper Peresvet F1 is an early hybrid intended for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouses. The period from germination to technical maturity is 90–105 days, and to biological maturity — 110–135 days. The plant is medium-height, compact, bushy, 50–60 cm tall, and does not require special pruning. Fruits have a prismatic or cuboid shape with slight longitudinal ribbing, 2–4-chambered, light green in technical maturity and red in biological. Fruit mass varies from 100–120 g in technical maturity to 160–180 g in biological, with a wall thickness of 5–6 mm.

Peresvet F1 pepper is distinguished by its juicy and sweet flesh with high vitamin C (227 mg%) and β-carotene (4.1 mg%) content in biological maturity. The hybrid exhibits uniform ripening, good appearance, and high transportability. The plant is resistant to verticillium wilt and other diseases, as well as to temperature stress, ensuring a stable yield.

For planting, a density of 4–5 plants per square meter is recommended in protected soil, and 6–8 plants per square meter in open ground with row spacing of 70x25 cm. Yield is 5–6 kg per square meter in open ground and 8–9 kg in greenhouses. Peresvet F1 pepper is widely used for fresh consumption and is also suitable for canning, pickling, making relish, and other home culinary purposes.
