Thick-walled early maturing pepper variety (gogochar type), tender and juicy flesh, high yield and flavor qualities of fruits
Helios — Early maturing variety. From full emergence to technical maturity 110-120 days, to biological maturity — 140-150 days. Helios variety plant is low-growing, 30-40 cm tall, compact. Fruits are round, smooth, without ridges, medium weight 100-150 g, light green in technical maturity, yellow in biological maturity. Wall thickness 6-8 mm. Helios variety is distinguished by high fruit yield and productivity — 40-70 t/ha. Grown through seedlings. Seedling age depends on the intended use of the product. For processing purposes, seedlings aged 25-45 days are planted. Planting scheme largely depends on irrigation method (60 X 20 cm for sprinkler irrigation and 90+50 X 20 cm for drip irrigation). Helios pepper yield — 40-70 t/ha. Fruits are used both for fresh consumption and for preservation. Helios variety is resistant to Verticillium wilt.
