Salyut

The Salut pepper variety is a medium-early hot pepper with a maturation period of 100 to 115 days. It is a multi-year, bush-type plant, reaching a height of about 20 cm, with a rounded and spreading form that does not require additional pruning. The fruits are protruding, conical with a pointed apex, and may be smooth or slightly ribbed. In technical maturity, they are dark green, and in biological maturity — light orange. The weight of one fruit is about 6 grams, and the wall thickness is 1 mm. The taste is hot with a strong aroma, making this variety especially valuable for lovers of spicy dishes.

Salut is well-suited for cultivation under various conditions: in greenhouses, on balconies, open terraces, and year-round in potted culture indoors. Seedlings should be sown at the end of February, with transplanting in the cotyledon stage, and planting in the ground at the end of May, following a planting scheme of 20x30 cm. The yield per plant ranges from 0.3 to 0.4 kg, allowing for a stable and abundant harvest.

This variety is valued not only for its abundant fruiting and high yield but also for its decorative appearance, shade tolerance, and high aromatic quality. The Salut pepper is recommended for use fresh, for making powder, for preservation, and as a decorative plant capable of enhancing any interior or garden space.
