Pepper Premier

Focus on Processing: The Potential of the Premier Variety

Within the segment of vegetable crops geared towards industrial use, the sweet pepper variety "Premier" from "Ooo Tsentr Ogorodnik" occupies a significant niche as a reliable source of raw material for the processing industry. Professional agronomists favor this variety for its predictable results and efficiency in field operations.

Agrotechnical Features

The key characteristic of the "Premier" variety is its specialization. Unlike salad peppers, which require gentle handling and do not always withstand long-term transport, this variety was developed as a specialized tool for canning plants and manufacturers of frozen vegetable mixes. The dense structure of the fruit and the high yield of marketable mass after mechanical processing make it the preferred choice for those planning large-scale industrial production.

• Technological maturity: The variety demonstrates uniform ripening, which is essential for minimizing harvest time.
• Resilience: The breeding efforts of the originators (including Agrofirma Poisk and Ooo Tsentr Ogorodnik) have provided the variety with sufficient immunity for cultivation in temperate climates.
• Application: Primary use is for industrial processing (sauces, lecho, freezing, drying).

Market Reputation

The history of "Premier" is closely tied to the development of the seed market, where the emphasis is shifting toward creating localized varieties adapted to specific soil and climatic conditions. As a product of "Ooo Tsentr Ogorodnik," this pepper embodies a pragmatic approach: it lacks unnecessary ornamental qualities but offers stable yield figures and predictable dry matter content, which is critical for the production costs of final processed goods. It remains a reliable choice for farmers supplying raw materials to large-scale industrial facilities.
