Pepper MACEDONIAN

Why "Makedonskiy" by Dacha Academy deserves a spot in your garden

Yuri Tarasov's selection process always focuses on results that are clear and accessible to every gardener. The sweet pepper "Makedonskiy" stands out among standard hybrids due to its reliable yield and a pronounced flavor profile rarely found in mass-market varieties.

What makes this variety unique

The core strength of "Makedonskiy" is its adaptability. While many imported hybrids require perfect greenhouse conditions and rigorous fertilization schedules, this variety is forgiving of minor cultivation mistakes. It maintains a balanced growth habit, avoiding excessive foliage production to ensure energy is directed entirely into fruit development.

Pros and cons

• Stability: The original breeding work by Yuri Dmitrievich Tarasov ensures varietal purity. You get a predictable outcome with every harvest cycle.
• Culinary use: This sweet pepper, with its firm walls, is perfect for canning and freezing. It retains its shape and rich aroma even after thermal processing.
• Requirements: Like any high-quality pepper, "Makedonskiy" responds well to consistent watering. In drought conditions, fruits may lose some juiciness, making drip irrigation a recommended investment for your garden.

This variety is an excellent choice for growers who value the reliability of the Russian selection school and want to harvest high-quality sweet peppers without the hassle of finicky imported seeds.
