Description Meteor
Meteor F1 — a medium-early hybrid of sweet pepper, intended for cultivation both in plastic greenhouses and in open ground, especially in southern regions. The maturation period ranges from 98 to 115 days from germination to the start of fruiting. The plant is medium-height, compact, bushy, 100–130 cm tall, with good leafiness. After transplanting into a greenhouse at the end of May, it is recommended to remove side shoots and leaves up to the first fork, as well as to tie the plants to supports to ensure optimal growth and fruit formation. The planting scheme is usually 40x60 cm.

Meteor F1 fruits have a conical shape, smooth surface, and hanging orientation. In technical ripeness, they are light yellow, and in biological ripeness — bright red. The flesh is juicy and succulent, with wall thickness ranging from 5 to 7 mm, and individual fruit weight varies from 100 to 130 grams. Fruit length reaches 10–12 cm. Due to their taste and market qualities, the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, salad preparation, vegetable ragu, stuffing, and preservation. The hybrid is characterized by high storability and good transportability.

Cultivation agronomy includes sowing seedlings in late February — early March, with transplanting at the 1–2 true leaf stage. Plants require regular watering, feeding, and soil loosening. Meteor F1 is resistant to diseases and demonstrates stable high yields, reaching 5.2–6.8 kg per square meter, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under hot and dry summer conditions.
