Hot Heart is a new early-maturing variety of hot pepper, intended for whole fruit canning and making spicy sauces. The fruits of this variety are small, resembling cherries, weighing from 20 to 25 grams. Harvesting occurs 110-120 days after emergence, when the fruits reach biological maturity and acquire a rich dark red color.
The variety’s feature is its high spiciness, reaching 50,000–60,000 Scoville units. The highest concentration of capsaicin is concentrated in the inner placenta with seeds, giving the peppers their characteristic spicy flavor. Thanks to this, Hot Heart is ideal for home cooking, especially for making spicy sauces and whole-fruit canning.
Plants of this variety are resistant to a complex of diseases, which contributes to stable yields. In greenhouse conditions, up to 3 kilograms of fruit can be harvested per square meter. This variety will be an excellent choice for those who appreciate spicy flavor and want to obtain a high-quality harvest for various culinary purposes.
