Cabbage Omero

Reliable Red Cabbage Production with Bejo Genetics

Choosing a hybrid for the fresh market often feels like a gamble between size, yield, and post-harvest quality. Omero from Bejo Zaden simplifies this by offering a predictable performance that producers need to fulfill consistent supply contracts. For the farm owner, this hybrid represents a low-risk, high-reward approach to red cabbage cultivation.

Field Performance and Protection

The standout feature of Omero is its natural resistance to Fusarium yellows. In real-world field conditions, this translates directly to reduced fungicide applications and fewer gaps in the field, even during high-pressure seasons. The plant architecture is compact, making field maintenance efficient and allowing for precise spacing without the risk of overcrowding.

Market-Ready Quality

• Weight: 1.0–2.0 kg heads are the industry sweet spot for retail customers, ensuring faster turnover at the point of sale.
• Appearance: A deep, dark green hue that provides excellent shelf appeal and signals freshness to the consumer.
• Durability: The internal density ensures that heads hold up well during transport, minimizing waste and maintaining a premium look from the field to the store.

Omero performs exactly as expected when standard agronomic practices are met. If you are looking for that classic Bejo reliability to ensure your fresh market harvest meets the high standards of modern buyers, this hybrid is a dependable choice for your seasonal rotation.
