Description Glamour
Glamour pepper is an early-maturing sweet variety with a maturation period from germination to the beginning of fruiting of 100-108 days. The plant is tall with a compact and high bush, medium-green leaves with slight wrinkling. The fruits have a cylindrical shape and glossy surface; they are green in technical ripeness and turn dark red in biological ripeness. The fruit weight reaches approximately 150 grams, the wall thickness is about 7 mm, and inside there are 3-4 chambers with very juicy and sweet flesh without bitterness. The taste qualities of the fruits are excellent, making the variety universal for fresh consumption, culinary use, and canning.

The Glamour variety is characterized by high yield and stable productivity, reaching 7.6-8.2 kg per square meter when grown under plastic coverings. It is resistant to fusarium, which increases cultivation reliability. The plant requires timely watering, regular weeding, loosening, and mineral fertilization to ensure good growth and abundant fruiting. Tall plants are recommended to be grown on trellises with two-stem pruning, while low-growing plants should be grown in a stem form without support.

For planting, seeds are sown in seedlings in early March, with thinning in the phase of one true leaf. Seedlings are transplanted to their permanent location at about 70 days old, following a 50x35 cm scheme. When grown in open ground, sowing is conducted after the threat of frost, when the soil has warmed to 10-12 degrees Celsius. The variety is suitable for both open ground and plastic coverings, making it a universal choice for various climatic conditions.
