Pepper CHERRYCO VICO

A compact choice for high-quality production

The «Cherriko Viko» pepper, developed by SDK-SIDS, stands out as a top-tier choice for those who value both aesthetic appeal and culinary utility. With a fruit weight of 30-40 grams, this variety fits perfectly into the rapidly growing market for small-sized or 'cherry-type' vegetables.

Key cultivation features

With a maturation period of 75-80 days, this variety allows growers to efficiently plan their harvest cycles in both open field and greenhouse environments. Its conical shape is particularly valued for whole-fruit preservation, as well as for its attractive presentation in fresh salads and gourmet appetisers. The pepper transitions from an initial green color to a vibrant red, ensuring it looks as good as it tastes at peak ripeness.

Pros and considerations

• Strengths: High adaptability to various growing methods, excellent portion size for the food industry, and consistent yield.
• Weaknesses: Due to the abundance of fruit on the plant, proper trellising is recommended to prevent damage as the crop ripens.

Who is this variety for? «Cherriko Viko» is an optimal solution for niche vegetable producers and gardening enthusiasts who appreciate the practicality and visual appeal of small-fruited peppers.
