Cabbage Zenon F1 — a late-maturing hybrid developed by breeders of the company Rijk Zwaan from the Netherlands. This variety is characterized by high yield and adaptability to growing conditions, which ensures its popularity in various regions of the world. The plant forms a strong root system and possesses a well-developed leafy canopy, which contributes to weed suppression and resistance to diseases such as fusarium and internal spot necrosis. The hybrid is intended for cultivation in open ground and is suitable for spring-summer and summer-autumn seasons with a recommended planting density of 30,000–35,000 plants per hectare. The vegetation period of cabbage Zenon F1 ranges from 115 to 135 days, classifying it as a late-maturing variety. Heads have a round shape, dense structure, and weigh between 3 to 4.5 kg. They are distinguished by a light green color with a sheen and excellent internal structure, ensuring high product quality. Due to their density and structure, cabbages withstand transportation well and are suitable for pneumatic cleaning, facilitating preparation for sale and processing. A distinctive feature of the Zenon F1 hybrid is its long storage capability — up to 8 months, during which the quality of heads remains high, and post-storage losses are significantly lower compared to other standard varieties.
