Early Harvest Strategy with "Krasavets"

For growers focusing on early-season market entry, the "Krasavets" pepper variety serves as a highly efficient tool. With a maturity period of just 55–65 days after transplanting, it allows farmers to capture peak market demand before the bulk harvest from open fields hits the shelves.

Field Performance and Market Utility

The trapezoidal shape and a consistent fruit weight of 120–160 grams simplify harvest logistics and sorting processes. With a wall thickness of 5–6 mm, the fruit strikes an ideal balance: it is sturdy enough to withstand handling and transportation, while remaining juicy and attractive for retail consumers.

• Production Scheduling: Perfectly suited for greenhouse cultivation and row-cover setups, enabling a steady supply cycle.
• Retail Appeal: The combination of uniform size and structural integrity makes this variety a reliable choice for wholesalers and retail chains.
• Operational Efficiency: High productivity rates per square meter allow for effective utilization of space under professional cultivation regimes.

Developed by V. N. Dederko and the Svetlana farm, this variety is bred for resilience and productivity. By managing nutrition carefully during the fruit-set stage, growers can consistently hit the 160-gram mark, ensuring that the "Krasavets" performs at its full genetic potential while maintaining a concentrated harvest period.
