CHERRY RED PEPPER

The 'Rumyanye Shechki' pepper variety is an early-maturing, high-yielding type with synchronized fruit ripening, reaching technical maturity in 115-117 days. The plant is semi-determinate, up to 80 cm tall, with fruits weighing 100-110 g, broad-conical in shape, and wall thickness of 6-8 mm. Fruits are oriented upwards on the bush and feature bright coloring: in technical maturity, they are yellow-orange with blush sides resembling apricots, and in biological maturity, they turn deep red. The flesh is very tender and sweet-tasting.

The variety is distinguished by high marketability, transportability, and storability, as well as resistance to cold and diseases, making it versatile for various uses. Fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and pickling. It is recommended to grow using seedlings: seeds are sown in February into prepared trays, seedlings emerge in 8 days, and after the appearance of two true leaves, seedlings are thinned to about 8 cm apart. Peppers prefer warm, well-drained, moist humus-rich soil, require regular, moderate watering and careful loosening to avoid damaging the shallow root system.

For open-ground planting, rows should be spaced 40-50 cm apart, and dense planting does not negatively affect plant development. Peppers prefer the upper part of the plant to be in sunlight while roots remain in shade. Care includes watering, weed removal, and staking if necessary. Due to its characteristics and low maintenance requirements, the 'Rumyanye Shechki' variety is an excellent choice for gardeners aiming to obtain a delicious and attractive harvest.
