Apple Spas — an early-maturing variety of sweet pepper, developed by Siberian breeders, characterized by high yield and excellent taste qualities. The plants of this variety are low-growing, reaching a height of up to 40 cm, and have a bushy fruiting form. The fruits are rounded-cuboid, four-sided, smooth and fragrant, resembling the aroma of apples. They have super-thick walls ranging from 0.9 to 1.1 cm in thickness, average weight from 70 to 140 grams, dense and heavy, ensuring good fruit storage. Fruit ripening occurs almost simultaneously, allowing for a uniform and early harvest from July to September. In technical maturity, the fruits are dark green, and in biological maturity — rich dark red. The variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings, making it versatile for various climatic conditions. The recommended planting density is 5-7 plants per square meter, which ensures yields of up to 1.5 kg per plant or 3.9-5.1 kg per square meter. Apple Spas is ideal for making stuffed peppers, salads, and other culinary preparations due to its rich flavor and aroma. The thick-walled and dense fruits make this variety especially attractive to sweet pepper enthusiasts who value quality and yield.
