Description BEAR IN THE NORTH
Bear in the North is an early-maturing, large-fruited hybrid suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover. The plants of this variety are compact, reaching a height of about 45 cm, which simplifies care and harvest. The fruits have a wide-conical shape with a blunt tip, a deep red color, and large size — the weight of one fruit can reach 200 grams. The fruit wall thickness is 7-9 mm, making it juicy and succulent.

This variety is distinguished by its early maturity; fruits are ready for harvest as early as July-August. Due to its characteristics, Bear in the North is versatile in use: it is excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for all kinds of culinary processing, including canning and pickling. High sugar content in the fruits gives them a pleasant sweet taste.

For cultivation, seedlings should be sown at the end of February to early March, followed by transplanting when the plant has one true leaf. Seedlings should be grown for about 60 days and transplanted at the bud stage. In greenhouses, pepper is planted in mid-May, and in open ground — in mid-June, after the end of spring frosts, following a planting scheme of 40x60 cm. The variety requires fertile and moist soil, which must be taken into account to achieve high and quality yields.
