Summer variety selected at the Dubovskoy Selection Station of Fruit Crops of the NIVNIS, obtained by sowing seeds of hybrid No. 18 (seedling No. 1 'Lesnaya Krasavitsa') from open pollination. Breeders: R. V. Korneev, L. K. Zhukova. Cultivated in the Volgograd region.
Trees medium-sized, fast-growing, with a rounded, moderately dense crown. Branches diverge from the trunk at nearly straight angles, curved, compactly arranged, pointing upward.
Shoots medium-sized, arched, rounded, greenish-brown, bare. Leaves medium-sized, elongated-ovate, long-pointed, light green, smooth, glossy, with delicate venation. Leaf blade concave, curved downward, glabrous. Leaf margin wavy, finely serrated-toothed. Petiole long, medium thickness, with a pinkish tint. Flower buds smooth, large, elongated.
Fruits above average or large size, average weight 170 g, maximum 250 g, one-dimensional, short-pear-shaped. Fruit surface smooth.
Fruits have a regular shape. Skin of medium density, smooth, dry, glossy. Color at harvest maturity: main color greenish, covering color—partially blurred brownish-red. Color at consumer maturity: main color greenish-yellow; covering color strongly expressed, blurred, red. Numerous small green lenticels, barely noticeable. Pedicel medium, thick, oblique. Calyx tube small, medium, without rusting. Receptacle non-detaching, open. Plate medium, narrow, smooth. Heart medium, bulbous. Subcalyx tube medium, bowl-shaped.
Flesh white, medium density, tender, finely textured, juicy, sweet, with moderate aroma, good flavor. Fruits contain 22.0% dry matter, 11.7% sugars, 0.14% titratable acids, 2.4 mg/100g ascorbic acid.
Harvest maturity occurs in August; consumer maturity in August–September.
Trees enter fruiting on the 5th–6th year after planting as one-year saplings. High and annual yield. The variety has high winter and drought resistance. Affected by scab only to a very minor extent.
Advantages of the variety: high ecological resistance, yield, fruit quality.
Disadvantages of the variety: relatively large trees and comparatively late fruiting onset.
