Tree fast-growing, medium-sized, forming a broad-pyramidal, relatively sparse crown. Branches thick, sparingly branched. Angle of skeletal branch divergence acute. Fruit set concentrated on rings, spear-like branches, fruiting twigs.
Shoots thick, straight or slightly curved, dark brown, slightly pubescent. Leaf buds conical, pressed. Leaves egg-shaped, shiny, intensely green. Leaf blade slightly folded along the central vein, margins finely toothed. Petiole of medium length and thickness.
Flowering occurs early, simultaneously with the Chizhovskaya variety.
Fruits above average or large size (average weight 145 g, largest up to 400 g), broad- or narrow-pear-shaped, sometimes with broad ridges on the side of the calyx and a bumpy surface. Skin smooth, yellow-green, turning yellow with bright red blush on the sun-exposed side at maturity. Subdermal dots small to medium, numerous, grayish. Peduncle usually thick, medium or short length, upright or oblique, with fleshy thickening at the fruit. No or very small, flat, depression. Receptacle small or medium-sized, small, wrinkled. Seed cavity large, elliptical, upper.
Flesh white, juicy, melting, oily, vinous-sweet, excellent flavor (4.3-4.5 points).
Tree begins fruiting at 6-7 years, characterized by annual moderate yields.
Fruits are harvested 1-1.5 weeks before full ripening (in Samara conditions, August 20-25). Stored for a month in a fruit storage facility, they retain their flavor quality.
Winter hardiness is moderate. In severe winters, skeletal branches may freeze. Recovery ability is high.
Fruits and leaves are less susceptible to scab compared to the Bessemyanka variety.
