Peach variety Agreement — a Canadian selection developed in 1994 by crossing varieties Veecling and NJC-95. This late-ripening variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness, tolerating temperatures down to -32 degrees Celsius, allowing successful cultivation in all climatic zones of Ukraine. Trees are grafted onto almond rootstock, which provides vigorous growth, drought and heat resistance, salt tolerance, and longevity — fruiting can be maintained for up to 25 years. Mature trees reach a height of 3.0–3.5 meters without crown formation, and with proper pruning, their size can be regulated. The fruits of peach variety Agreement have white flesh and weigh between 140 to 300 grams, usually 200–250 grams. They possess high commercial quality, excellent transportability, and a long storage life. The taste qualities of the fruits are highly rated — maximum tasting score of 5 out of 5. The variety is self-fertile, simplifying care and ensuring a stable yield. Peaches begin fruiting 2–3 years after planting, with one tree yielding 50 to 70 kg or more delicious and fragrant fruits. In addition to exceptional taste and aroma, the fruits of variety Agreement are rich in vitamins C, B, and A, making them beneficial for health. Trees easily adapt to various growing conditions and require minimal care, making this variety an excellent choice for gardeners aiming to achieve high-quality and abundant yields.
