Tree medium-sized — 4.8-5.5 m tall, with a spherical, spreading, densely foliated crown. One-year shoot of medium thickness, natural purplish-green color. Vegetative and generative buds of medium size, positioned at an angle to the shoot. Generative bud egg-shaped, vegetative bud elongated and pointed (conical). Leaves of medium size, elongated and pointed shape, with a tapered apex and rounded base. Leaf size 11.2 x 5.4 cm, with pronounced serrated edges. Light green color. Upper and lower leaf surfaces smooth. Leaf slightly curved. At the base of the leaf blade, two purplish glands are symmetrically located on the petiole. Petiole of medium length — 2.4-4.2 cm, medium thickness, dark brown color. Flowers of medium size, white, petals rounded, slightly concave. Inflorescence — umbel, consisting of 3-5 flowers. Corolla shape is circular, petals arranged opposite each other. Surface of the stigma and anthers is spherical, with the stigma protruding above (stamen length 5-6 mm, stigma length 7-8 mm). Calyx shape is spherical, edges of the sepals smooth. Flowering and fruiting occur on cluster branches and at the base of one-year shoots.
Fruits are round, with slightly pronounced shoulders, ventral suture barely noticeable. Fruit color dark red. Fruit cavity of medium size but deep. Fruit weight 5.6-6.3 g, dimensions 20 x 22 x 20 mm, color dark red. Flesh tender, juicy, dark red with pink veins. Juice with harmonious acid balance. Sensory evaluation of fresh fruit 5.0 points. Fruit contains 11.0% dry matter, 8.0% sugars, 0.60% acids, 5.72 mg/100g ascorbic acid. Storage life — 6-7 days. Transportability good. Fruits have attractive appearance and high taste qualities. Peduncle of medium length — 39 mm, fruit attachment medium. Stone is rounded and convex, with pronounced grooves, apex slightly indented, base marked with a point. Stone surface smooth, stone mass 0.4 g, which is 7.1% of fruit mass, stone easily separates from fruit flesh. Fruit cavity of medium size but deep. Fruit detachment from peduncle easy, variety suitable for mechanized harvesting. Fruit cracking index in rainy weather — average 19.0%. Variety purpose is universal. After processing, products such as compote and high-quality jam are obtained.
Early-mid season ripening variety. Flowering period — April 20-26, ripening — June 7-17. Fruits are of universal use. Variety enters fruiting on the 4-5th year after planting in the garden. Yield — 15.0 kg per tree or 50.0 centners per hectare.
Partially self-fertile. Winter hardy. Generative bud winter hardiness — 98%. Flower bud spring frost resistance above average. Among fungal diseases, moniliosis is noted — 1.1%. Variety is relatively drought-resistant, but prolonged summer droughts may negatively affect tree condition, leading to wilting and suppression. Suitable for intensive orchards.
Does not require special pruning, only sanitary pruning, responds well to watering and fertilizer application.
