Soyvo is a medium-ripening peach variety developed at the Melitopol Experimental Station of Horticulture named after M.F. Sidorenko. The fruits have an elongated shape, slightly flattened on the sides, with yellow skin and a dark raspberry blush covering 50 to 90% of the surface. The average fruit weight ranges from 180 to 300 grams. The flesh is dense, very juicy, and yellow in color, with a pleasant sweet and balanced flavor. Fruit ripens from August 5 to August 15, making it attractive for summer consumption.
Additionally, there is a plum-peach hybrid known as "Northern Glow," distinguished by large and heavy fruits weighing up to 140 grams. These fruits are round and have a rich pink color, with flesh that is highly juicy and refreshing, with honey-like notes. The tree of this hybrid has a neat crown and narrow leaves resembling peach leaves.
The "Northern Glow" hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases and pests, moderate frost tolerance, and good adaptability to various climatic conditions. It can withstand both cold and heat, making it suitable for cultivation in different regions. Large, sweet, and aromatic fruits with distinct sugary tones are the main advantage of this variety, combining the best qualities of plum and peach.
