Peach Spokusa

Ukrainian breeding for consistent yields

The 'Spokusa' peach is a result of meticulous development by the M.F. Sydorenko Institute of Plant Protection. Designed to thrive within the climatic challenges of Ukraine, this variety has established itself as a reliable choice for both home gardeners and commercial growers looking for low-maintenance cultivars. It excels where others fail, particularly in regions prone to dry spells.

Key characteristics for successful growing

The tree exhibits moderate growth, making canopy management and harvesting efficient. Its reputation rests on a balance of vigor and resilience. Most importantly, it is highly resistant to common diseases, significantly reducing the need for chemical spraying and lowering overall production costs.

The fruit experience

• Visual appeal: The oval-shaped fruits, weighing around 200 grams, boast a vibrant yellow color accented with a deep red blush.
• Flavor and texture: The flesh is remarkably dense yet juicy, melting in the mouth with a sweet and fragrant profile that appeals to any market.

If you are looking for a robust variety that balances high drought tolerance with minimal input requirements, 'Spokusa' provides an exceptional solution for sustainable fruit production.
