Peach Crispsun

French breeding for modern orchards

The Crispsan peach, developed by the French company Agro Selections Fruits S.A.S. and officially registered in Ukraine in 2026, represents a new standard in industrial fruit production. The variety is engineered to prioritize resilience and adaptability in an era of unpredictable climate shifts.

Field performance and environmental resilience

The core strength of Crispsan lies in its ability to maintain fruit quality under extreme thermal stress. During prolonged heatwaves, the variety exhibits remarkable resistance to tissue dehydration; the fruits retain their turgor and show no tendency toward premature drop, a critical factor for regions facing water scarcity.

• Thermoregulation: The foliage maintains high photosynthetic activity at temperatures exceeding +30°C, allowing the tree to sustain metabolic processes without entering a state of critical stress.
• Phytosanitary profile: The genetic background of the variety provides enhanced tolerance to major stone fruit fungal diseases, including leaf curl, which significantly reduces the need for intensive chemical interventions.
• Cultivation zones: Crispsan performs optimally in the southern and central regions of Ukraine. Due to its robust wood winter-hardiness, the variety is well-suited for high-density planting systems that require consistent annual growth and predictable yields.

In the field, the tree develops a balanced canopy that is not prone to excessive density. This architecture simplifies routine agrotechnical operations and ensures uniform light penetration, which minimizes the risk of rot in the lower canopy and improves overall harvest efficiency.
