CRIMEAN FIREWORK

The "Crimean Firework" peach is a table variety with an early maturation period; its fruits can be harvested as early as the second decade of July. The trees are medium-sized with a spreading canopy of medium density and possess high yields, reaching 250-350 centners per hectare. The variety is self-fertile, begins fruiting in the 3rd-4th year, and primarily bears fruit on mixed-type shoots and floral shoots. To maintain high productivity, annual pruning with strong thinning of new growth is required. The fruits of this variety have a medium size — 100-120 grams, a round shape with a slightly obtuse apex. The skin has medium thickness and density, with medium woolly fuzzing, and peels off easily from the fruit. The skin coloration is yellow with a carmine-purple blurred and marbled blush covering up to 75% of the surface. The flesh is yellow, tender, juicy, with a fibrous texture and a sweet-sour flavor, rated at 4.25-4.5 points. The pit is hard to separate. The variety is well-suited for transport and is suitable both for table use and for juice production. "Crimean Firework" is distinguished by its resistance to a range of diseases, including clasterosporiosis and leaf curl, and also exhibits a medium level of powdery mildew infection. The variety is characterized by medium winter hardiness and good drought resistance. Thanks to its high frost resistance and disease resistance, as well as high yield and excellent taste qualities, this variety is an attractive choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions.
