CRIMEAN DIAMOND

The 'Crimean Diamond' peach variety is a medium-sized tree with a round, slightly spreading canopy of medium density. The flowers are bell-shaped, and flowering occurs in the mid-period. The frost resistance of the generative buds for this variety is average, which should be taken into account when choosing a planting site and care methods. The tree is characterized by high yield, reaching 13.6 tons per hectare, making it attractive for gardeners and farmers.

The fruits of the 'Crimean Diamond' variety have an ellipsoidal shape and weigh between 110 and 130 grams. They ripen from the end of July to the beginning of August. The fruit apex is slightly blunt, and the abdominal suture is weakly expressed. The skin is of medium thickness, covered with hard pubescence; the background color is cream-white, while the overlay is pink-carmine, blurred with spots, covering up to 75% of the fruit surface. The flesh is white with a cream tint, fibrous, very juicy, with a harmonious combination of sugar and acid, providing a high tasting score of 4.5 points.

The pit is of medium size and separates poorly from the flesh, although in some years, with full maturity, it may separate more easily. The variety is self-pollinating, which simplifies the growing process. Thanks to its taste qualities, early ripening period, and high yield, 'Crimean Diamond' is suitable for cultivation both in private gardens and for commercial purposes.
