Bariton

Baryton — this is a green-seeded pea variety, registered in the Ukrainian Variety Register in 2010. It is characterized by early flowering and belongs to the mid-maturing group. Recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. Plants reach a height of 60-80 cm, with a yield potential of 4.0 to 5.0 tons per hectare. Peas are distinguished by high protein content — from 20 to 23 %, making them a valuable protein source. The 1000-seed weight varies within 220-230 grams. The variety exhibits high resistance to various diseases and stress factors, rated at 8-9 points. For protection of crops during the bud stage, it is recommended to treat with Bazudin, Zolon, or Karate.
