Root parsley Chelesta

Stability and Quality in Root Parsley

Celesta parsley from Nasko is the choice for growers who prioritize predictable results. Under Ukraine's variable climate conditions, this variety demonstrates remarkable resilience, developing from seed to marketable root crop in just 80–90 days. It is a mid-season hybrid that doesn't demand excessive maintenance but responds to proper agricultural practices with excellent yields.

Why choose Celesta?

• Texture and Flavor: The roots feature a dense flesh that doesn't become woody during long-term storage. This is crucial for farmers targeting the fresh market during the autumn and winter seasons.
• Crop Geometry: Uniformly shaped roots are highly convenient for post-harvest handling—they are easier to wash and package, which directly impacts profitability.
• Professional Genetics: Developed under the auspices of the Timofeev Selection Station, this variety guarantees high germination rates and resistance to common crop diseases.

The primary value of this variety lies in the balance between foliage mass and the root crop itself. Celesta’s foliage is vigorous and dark green, ensuring high rates of photosynthesis and, consequently, the accumulation of sugars and aromatic compounds in the root. This makes the parsley highly sought after in both retail and the processing sector.

Who is this variety for?

Celesta is ideal for farms specializing in root vegetables. If your goal is to harvest a product with excellent marketability and shelf life without the need for overly complex growing techniques, this variety will become a reliable asset in your crop rotation.

Despite its high productivity, it is important to remember that Celesta performs best in light, well-structured soils with proper drainage. On heavy clay soils, the root may deform, so proper soil preparation is half the battle for a high-quality harvest.
