Root parsley Glory

Working with «Gloria» parsley

When it comes to consistent yields of leaf parsley, the «Gloria» variety from the Gavrish breeding firm proves to be a reliable tool that performs well even under challenging conditions.

Vegetation and maintenance

«Gloria» is a classic leaf parsley variety, developed by Sergey Fedorovich Gavrish and his team at the Research Institute of Vegetable Breeding. The main operational characteristic worth noting is its powerful leaf rosette. The leaves are large, dark green, and possess a distinct aroma that holds up exceptionally well, even after storage or drying.

• Regeneration speed: After a mass harvest, the plant actively produces new growth, allowing for multiple cuttings throughout the vegetation period.
• Technological consistency: The crop is not prone to premature bolting, which is crucial for farmers targeting wholesale markets and retail distribution.
• Environmental resilience: The variety handles temperature fluctuations well without losing its marketable appearance.

Operational recommendations

«Gloria» performs best with regular watering and proper weeding during the early stages of development. The seedlings emerge uniformly but are sensitive to competition from weeds, so protection during the start is essential. The variety is not demanding regarding soil type, although on fertile, well-drained soils, the rosettes develop faster, and the leaves become significantly more succulent.

For those planning commercial production, it is important to pay attention to planting density: the variety responds well to adequate spacing, which directly impacts the mass of each plant. «Gloria» is the choice of a professional looking for a straightforward result without surprises, backed by an originator known for deep expertise in vegetable breeding.
