Petra parsley — a high-yielding Dutch curly variety developed by Bejo Zaden. The vegetation period is approximately 85-90 days, classifying it as medium-early. The plant forms a strong rosette with attractive dark-green curly leaves possessing a rich aroma. The plant height reaches 30-35 cm, allowing for multiple harvests during the season due to rapid and even regrowth after cutting.

The Petra variety is characterized by high resistance to leaf diseases and adaptability to growing conditions, enabling successful cultivation both in open ground, greenhouses, and tunnels. Seeds are sown after soil warming, typically in mid-April, followed by thinning and regular application of nitrogen-potassium fertilizers in early growth stages. The plant is also suitable for balcony cultivation and retains its market quality even after transplanting by roots.

Petra parsley is widely used fresh, for processing and drying, and due to its attractive curly leaves, it is often used for garnishing dishes. Yield reaches up to 3 kg per square meter, making it a profitable choice for commercial cultivation and home gardens. Additionally, the variety performs well even under adverse conditions, confirming its reliability and versatility.
