Coriander BAZAR

Technical Analysis of the 'Bazar' Variety

The 'Bazar' coriander variety, developed by Greenomica, is specifically engineered for professional leafy green production. Its design focus centers on optimizing the leaf-to-stem ratio and ensuring uniformity, which are critical parameters for commercial agriculture.

Morphology and Physiological Traits

• Leaf Architecture: The variety features a raised rosette structure. This design choice is fundamental for commercial operations as it minimizes soil contact, reducing the need for intensive washing and ensuring a higher-quality product for the consumer.
• Growth Dynamics: 'Bazar' is bred to maintain a robust vegetative phase, resisting premature bolting. This allows for more flexible harvest scheduling, which is essential for maintaining a continuous supply chain.
• Density Optimization: The predictable growth habit of 'Bazar' enables growers to precisely calculate plant population density, maximizing yield per square meter without risking the leaf stretching typically caused by overcrowding.

Practical Application for Growers

The technical edge of 'Bazar' lies in its consistent performance across various growing environments, including both open-field conditions and controlled environments like film greenhouses. The leaves possess high aromatic density and a firm texture that remains resilient after harvesting. By prioritizing a strong, upright posture, the plant simplifies the harvesting process—whether done manually or mechanically—thereby increasing the throughput of the harvesting operation. This variety is an effective solution for professional producers seeking reliability in leaf quality and harvest efficiency.
