Onion Jagro F1

Reliable Yields with Yagro F1 in Your Crop Rotation

For vegetable growers focused on the fresh herb market and processing industries, the Dutch breeding expertise of Bejo offers a balanced solution: the Yagro F1 hybrid. This bunching onion demonstrates a high yield potential of up to 50 tons per hectare, making it a valuable asset for commercial production. Vegetation traits allow for precise harvest planning, with a maturity period of up to 90 days.

Application Scenarios: From Salad Markets to Processing

Choosing this hybrid is justified in two key areas:

• Salad Segment: Thanks to excellent flavor profiles and the marketable appearance of the leaves, the product is in high demand in retail. The dense structure and vibrant color are maintained during transport, which is critical for supply chain logistics.
• Processing: The round bulb shape, weighing 80–90 grams, combined with high productivity, makes Yagro F1 a convenient raw material for processing lines. Consistent sizing minimizes waste during mechanical cleaning.

Agronomic Recommendations

The hybrid is designed for manual harvesting, requiring organized labor upon reaching technical maturity. The growth energy of Yagro F1 allows for efficient use of acreage, while the Dutch origin of the seeds ensures high germination rates and uniform crop emergence. Utilizing Yagro F1 enables farmers to minimize risks associated with uneven ripening, ensuring a stable supply of marketable products by the scheduled target date.
