This variety is suitable for cultivation as both an annual and biennial crop. The bulbs are round and white, with a weight of about 120 grams. The flesh is white and has a slightly sweet taste, making it attractive to consumers.

One of the key features of the Avalon variety is its low tendency to sprouting, which significantly extends the storage life of the harvest. The upper layers of the bulbs do not turn green, preserving the product's appearance and quality. Thanks to these characteristics, the Avalon onion is intended for long-term storage, lasting until mid-winter, allowing its use throughout the entire cold season.

The recommended planting density is about 0.9 million plants per hectare, ensuring optimal yield.
