The Wellington onion is a hybrid early-maturing onion with high yield potential. The bulbs of this variety have a round shape and a low number of layers, which facilitates processing and storage. The outer scales of the bulbs have a bronze hue, while the inner ones are white, giving them an attractive appearance and making them versatile for various uses.

This variety is ideal for both fresh consumption and processing, expanding its culinary and food industry applications. WELLINGTON is distinguished by its disease resistance, reducing the need for frequent use of protective agents and promoting a stable yield.

It is recommended to grow WELLINGTON onions both in open ground and in closed greenhouse conditions. Optimal sowing times are late March and April, allowing for an early harvest. The variety is well-adapted to the climatic conditions of Ukraine, Moldova, and Russia, ensuring a high yield of up to 50-60 tons per hectare.
