The Onion of the 'Uralsky Krasny' variety is an early-maturing, multi-bulb variety with round-flat bulbs of burgundy-red color. The mass of one bulb reaches up to 70 grams, while 5 to 9 bulbs are formed in one bulbil. The bulbs are distinguished by high marketability, dense structure, and semi-sharp taste, which makes them attractive for both fresh consumption and long-term storage. Dry onion scales have a yellow-brown tint with a purple sheen, while the juicy inner layers are white. The leaves of this variety are tender and juicy, do not become tough for a long time, which allows the onion to be used not only as a vegetable but also as a garnish.

The variety is characterized by stable annual yield and resistance to bolting, which ensures long shelf life of bulbs until the new harvest. 'Uralsky Krasny' is suitable for cultivation in both annual and biennial culture. For biennial culture, sowing seeds is recommended at the end of April - beginning of May at a depth of about 1 cm, followed by planting seedlings at the beginning of May. Care for plants includes regular weeding, watering, and fertilization, while watering is stopped one month before harvesting. Harvesting begins when leaves wilt by about 60%.

This onion variety is distinguished not only by high productivity but also by versatility of application. Due to low essential oil content and absence of bitterness, 'Uralsky Krasny' onion has a mild semi-sharp taste, which makes it ideal for use in cooking both fresh and in various dishes. It can be grown to obtain dense bulbs or to use as a garnish, which expands the possibilities of using this variety in home and commercial vegetable growing.
