Terminal leek variety is a medium-early type, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. The plant features a strong leaf rosette with upright, green leaves of deep green color and a strong waxy coating, which contributes to prolonged freshness after harvest. The leek stem is white, cylindrical, 35-40 cm long, making it attractive for fresh consumption and culinary use, such as in salads and other dishes.
The Terminal variety is characterized by high productivity, good marketability, and excellent transportability. It is resistant to common diseases, which simplifies care and improves crop quality. The vegetation period from sowing to harvest is 155-165 days, allowing harvest in summer and autumn. The leek tolerates temperatures down to –7°С, expanding its cultivation possibilities in various climatic conditions.
Terminal variety seeds are produced by the Czech company Moravoseed and supplied in packages of 1 kg or 10,000 seeds. They are suitable for planting in various regions, ensuring stable plant growth and development. Sowing seedlings is recommended from late February, and transplanting seedlings should be done from mid-March, allowing optimal use of the season for obtaining high-quality harvest.
