Onion Mria

A Reliable Choice for the Salad Segment

The Mriya leek variety from the Svityaz brand is a time-tested vegetable cultivar, tailored to the needs of private gardens and small-scale farms. Within its market, this variety has established itself as a reliable tool for producing high-quality yields intended for fresh consumption.

Agronomic Features and Applications

Mriya belongs to the classic salad leek category. The primary value of this variety lies in the delicate consistency of its stem (the blanched pseudostem), which possesses a mild flavor profile lacking the sharp pungency typical of common bulb onions. This characteristic makes it an ideal ingredient for vitamin-rich salads, soups, and side dishes that require a soft, refined texture.
