Stalagmit onion is an early hybrid of American-type bulb onion, intended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine. The bulb has an oval shape and weighs about 160 grams. The skin is light brown, covered with a waxy coating, which gives the onion an attractive appearance and helps preserve it.
The maturation period of Stalagmit onion is approximately 110-115 days, allowing for early harvest. This hybrid is characterized by a well-developed leafy apparatus and high adaptability to various growing conditions, including open and protected ground. The seeding rate is about 0.8-1.0 million seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal planting density and high yield.
One of the key advantages of Stalagmit onion is its excellent storability and ability to be stored for a long time, making it in demand both for fresh consumption and for processing and distribution. The seeds are produced in the Czech Republic, guaranteeing high quality and reliability of planting material.
