Stingray F1 onion is a medium-early hybrid of Spanish type with a vegetative period of 110-115 days. The plant features a strong root system that ensures resistance to adverse weather conditions during maturation. The leaf rosette is strong, dark green with a waxy coating, promoting the formation of dense, high-quality outer scales. The bulbs are round and have a rich golden-bronze color, giving them an attractive market appearance.

Stingray F1 hybrid is characterized by high yield and excellent product quality. The bulbs are medium-sized, dense, and contain a high amount of dry matter — about 9.9%, ensuring long storage life and good keeping quality. The flavor is crisp and moderately spicy with white flesh. The onion is resistant to major diseases such as fusarium and pink rot, and is also immune to downy mildew, significantly simplifying cultivation and reducing crop losses.

This hybrid is suitable for cultivation in open ground and can be used for both fresh market sales and long-term storage.
