Savarona F1

Savarona F1 — a mid-late maturing hybrid of sweet white bulb onion for long-day cultivation with a vegetation period of 115-125 days. The bulb has an oval shape, slightly flattened at the poles, light-white color, and is capable of forming very large heads. The hybrid exhibits high growth energy in early development stages and good response to fertilizer application, promoting timely and rapid head closure, thereby improving storage duration.

Savarona F1 onion has a dense structure and a waxy coating on leaves, which provides resistance to chemical treatments and enhances resistance to certain diseases. The hybrid shows high tolerance to pink rot and Fusarium wilting, as well as resistance to green discoloration of outer scales, significantly improving product appearance. Additionally, the onion does not crack during transportation and field storage.
