Onion Iroko

Iroko F1 onion is a late hybrid of semi-sharp bulb onion developed by the Dutch company Enza Zaden. This variety features a strong and robust plant with upright leaves, ensuring high productivity and resistance to various growing conditions in open ground. From germination to harvest, it takes 115 to 125 days, allowing for a high-quality harvest at optimal times.

Iroko bulbs have a round shape and golden-bronze outer scales. The inner scales are thick, snow-white, and tightly packed, giving the onion a pleasant taste and attractive appearance. The hybrid accumulates sufficient dry matter, making it well-suited for mechanical harvesting and sorting. This also contributes to a long storage life of up to 7-8 months without quality loss.
