Description Sunlight / Sunčanyj
The 'Sunlight' variety of onion is a high-quality vegetable with soft, sweet flesh and a rich aroma, ideal for various culinary purposes. This variety features large, round or elongated bulbs with straw-yellow skins, possessing a fine texture. Thanks to its flavor profile, this onion is perfect for salads, sandwiches, and freezing or frying, imparting a unique sweet taste to dishes.

This is a long-day variety requiring approximately 100 days from transplanting seedlings to harvest. It is well-adapted to northern regions and can achieve significant sizes—on the territory of Ukraine, bulbs reach up to 1 kg. Historically, this variety is a family heirloom originating from Scotland in the 1950s and is associated with the famous giant Kelsoe onion, which holds the world record for size.

Seeds are supplied in a convenient package: a paper envelope without side adhesive seals, containing a sealed polyethylene zip lock bag. This packaging allows you to assess the quantity and quality of the seeds, ensuring they meet high standards. Growing this variety will yield large, sweet, and aromatic bulbs that will become a highlight of your garden and diversify your home menu.
