Onion variety Rocket is a mid-season variety with a wide-elliptic bulb weighing from 50 to 60 grams. Its dry skins are brown and consist of 2-3 layers, while the juicy skins are white. The neck has medium thickness with two to three cloves. The variety has a semi-sharp taste, making it universal for various culinary purposes.

Variety Rocket is recommended for growing both as a one-year crop from seeds and as a two-year crop from seed sets. It is well adapted for growing in the Far East region, demonstrating high commercial yield, which ranges from 182 to 297 hundredweight per hectare. This is 30-60 hundredweight more compared to the Dmitrich variety. The maximum yield recorded in the Khabarovsk region reaches 360 hundredweight per hectare.

Onion maturity before harvest is 84%, and after after-ripening it reaches 95%, indicating good storage and crop preservation. These characteristics make the Rocket variety attractive to farmers seeking to obtain high-quality and high-yield onion with good taste qualities.
