Onion MILLIONAIRE

Reliability and Long-Term Storage

The «Millioner» onion by «Heterosis Breeding» (Geterozisnaya selektsiya) is a strategic choice for growers who prioritize consistent supply throughout the off-season. With an exceptional shelf life of 9 to 10 months, this hybrid allows farmers to bypass immediate post-harvest market volatility and sell their produce when prices are at their peak.

Field Application and Characteristics

Designed primarily for the salad market, this onion variety is equally effective for industrial processing applications. Its ellipsoid shape makes it convenient for both manual handling and pre-pack preparation, while the bronze-yellow skin color ensures an attractive presentation for retail shelves.

• Usage: Fresh market and industrial processing.
• Harvesting: Optimized for manual harvesting to maintain bulb integrity.
• Storage: Exceptional durability, maintaining quality for up to 10 months.

«Millioner» responds well to standard agronomic practices, forming a dense bulb structure that resists mechanical damage during storage. It is an ideal variety for farms equipped with climate-controlled facilities, enabling the grower to fully leverage the hybrid's long shelf life. Whether you are supplying grocery chains or local distributors, this variety provides the stability needed for a sustainable production cycle.
