Utrero F1 is a late hybrid of semi-sharp, bulb onion developed by the Dutch breeding company Nunhems Zaden. This variety is characterized by high productivity and vigorous growth, capable of thriving in various climatic conditions. The onion matures in 120-125 days and is intended for cultivation in open ground. The plant is resistant to adverse factors such as drought and high temperatures, as well as highly resistant to diseases including fusarium and root rot.

Mature Utrero bulbs have a round shape and a uniform golden-brown hue with a very fine neck. The outer scales are dense and firm, while the inner scales are thick and juicy with a crisp, whitish flesh. Bulb weight ranges from 150 to 300 grams. Due to its structure and resistance to damage, the harvest can be mechanically harvested, transported over long distances, and stored without loss of quality until spring, making this variety ideal for long-term storage.

Utrero F1 onion is suitable for various uses: fresh consumption, preservation, and secondary processing. For maximum yield, it is recommended to plant at a density of approximately 0.8-0.9 million plants per hectare and begin harvest after 80-90% of the foliage has fallen. This variety demonstrates stable yield even with minimal care, making it an attractive choice for farmers seeking reliable, high-quality harvests.
