Thanks to its medium maturation period, two harvests can be obtained in one season — bulb onions and green tops. To improve seed germination and reduce disease risk, it is recommended to pre-treat seeds: soaking in water or growth stimulator for 24 hours, and treating with potassium permanganate solution if seeds are prepared independently.
