The bulbs of this variety are round, dense, weighing from 85 to 150 grams, with an attractive brown-bronze skin. The onion has a sharp, juicy flavor, making it popular among farms and enthusiasts of quality vegetables.

Onion Halceton can be grown using several methods: seedlings, direct sowing, from seeds, or from sets. Thanks to its medium maturation period, two harvests can be obtained in one season — bulb onions and green tops. To improve seed germination and reduce disease risk, it is recommended to pre-treat seeds: soaking in water or growth stimulator for 24 hours, and treating with potassium permanganate solution if seeds are prepared independently. This approach accelerates growth and ensures healthy plant development.
