Purple cabbage Lavender F1 is a medium-maturing hybrid developed by Rijk Zwaan from the Netherlands. The plant features strong growth and a robust leaf mass with vertically arranged leaves, ensuring high self-shading ability of flower heads. The vegetative period is 65-70 days in summer and 80-90 days in autumn, allowing cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, both in open ground and under plastic cover.

The flower heads of cabbage Lavender F1 have a rich purple color, dense structure, and round shape, with a weight ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 kg. These characteristics ensure high marketability and good shape retention during transportation and thermal processing. The cabbage has a delicate and balanced taste, free of foreign flavors, making this variety dietetic and recommended for consumption in cases of cardiovascular system issues and metabolic disorders.

The Lavender F1 variety is characterized by high stress resistance, rapid recovery after adverse conditions, and active resistance to diseases. To achieve maximum productivity, crop rotation and agronomic norms should be followed, including moderate watering, weeding, and application of complex fertilizers. This cabbage is suitable for both fresh market and processing, including freezing and culinary use, making it a versatile and in-demand product.
