The onion variety «Garbeo» from Takii Europe B.V. represents a choice for professional vegetable growers focused on stable and high-yield results in the mid-late maturity segment. Originating from the Netherlands, this hybrid has established itself over years in the market as a tool for producing premium-quality commercial goods, capable of withstanding long-term storage without compromising consumer traits.

Agronomic Potential and Specifications

The round-cuboid shape of the bulbs is ideal for modern logistics and retail packaging, while the average weight of 90–100 grams makes them versatile for market distribution.

• Skin color: bright brown, providing excellent protection during transport.
• Internal structure: white, crisp, and juicy with the flavor profile expected of a premium salad onion.
• Harvesting method: manual, allowing for minimized mechanical damage and extended shelf life.

For growers, this hybrid stands for predictability. The Dutch breeding expertise of Takii Europe B.V. traditionally prioritizes crop resilience and the ability to maintain marketability even after extended time in storage. «Garbeo» does not require complex conditions beyond standard onion care, serving as a reliable foundation for a successful production season.
