Cabbage FILIPPOK

Breeding by the Monakhos Dynasty: Miniature Potential

The 'Filippok' variety is a unique result of the work conducted by the N.N. Timofeev Breeding Station under the guidance of renowned breeding experts Grigory Fedorovich Monakhos and Sokrat Grigoryevich Monakhos. This variety challenges conventional views on cabbage cultivation, offering the market not classic heavy heads, but a new generation of portioned leafy greens.

Agrotechnical Features and Application

The key characteristic of 'Filippok' is its miniature size. With a head weight ranging from 0 to 0.1 kg, it belongs to the category of portioned vegetables that perfectly align with fine dining concepts and healthy eating trends. The growing season from seedling transplanting is 90–100 days. Its rounded, deep-green heads are visually appealing and possess a firm texture, making them highly sought after by the fresh produce market.

• Plant type: Leafy cabbage (portioned).
• Shape: Uniformly round.
• Application: Fresh market, professional culinary use.
• Originators: Timofeev Breeding Station (Monakhos dynasty).

Unlike large-fruited varieties, 'Filippok' is targeted at the HoReCa sector, where weight standardization and presentation aesthetics are paramount. It is the choice for growers focused on niche production, where visual quality takes precedence over total tonnage.
