EASTERN EXPRESS

EASTERN EXPRESS is an early-maturing cabbage hybrid that boasts high yield and excellent taste qualities. The plant forms a compact rosette of dark green leaves with a light waxy coating. The heads are round in shape, weighing from 1.3 to 1.5 kg, and have a white-cream color with a juicy, tender structure. This hybrid is resistant to vascular and soft rot bacterial blight, as well as to cracking, making it particularly valuable for dense plantings and early summer culinary use.

Additionally, EASTERN EXPRESS is available as a stem cabbage variety that does not form heads. The leaves of this variety are smooth, whole, and green, while the stems are juicy and fleshy. This type of cabbage is widely used in the preparation of salads, soups, side dishes, and is also suitable for pickling, salting, and drying. The plant is distinguished by its resistance to bolting and high vitamin C content, which increases its nutritional value.

Cabbage EASTERN EXPRESS is cold-hardy and light-loving, yet resistant to shading. To obtain an early yield, the seedling method of cultivation is recommended, especially in pots. The optimal temperature for plant growth and development is 15-22 °C. The mass of one plant varies from 1.5 to 3 kg, allowing for a significant volume of product from each bush.
