Spring oat variety EXPRESS is a medium-early thick-husked variety, characterized by high yield and valuable quality traits. The vegetation period is 72-82 days, which is slightly later compared to the Amursky Utess variety. The bushes have intermediate height, leaves are hairless and without a waxy coating, and the panicle is semi-dense, long, and white. The grain is large, white, with a naked base and an average mass of 375-575 g/L. Protein content in the grain varies from 11 to 17%, making this variety particularly valuable for the food industry and animal feed. Lodging resistance is moderate, and diseases such as bunt and rust have not been observed in the region. The EXPRESS variety boasts high yields, reaching 29.2 c/ha under average regional conditions, with maximum indicators potentially reaching up to 53 c/ha. This allows for effective use of this oat in agricultural production, ensuring a stable and quality harvest. Due to its characteristics, the variety is well-adapted to the Far Eastern region conditions and has been included in the corresponding state register. Additionally, quick-cooking oat flakes are produced from the EXPRESS variety, which are an excellent source of dietary fiber and protein.
